MedScout Sales Rep of the Month: October 2023

Sales Reps are the core of who we are here at MedScout. Each month, we want to recognize one of our users for standout utilization of MedScout and sales performance at their respective companies. 

We are excited to announce our October MedScout Rep of the Month: Rob Johnson of Electronic Caregiver!

Rob Johnson has been an active MedScout user since June 2023. In September & October, Rob analyzed over 60 Physician profiles each month to learn more about their billing history.

We had a chance to catch up with Rob to learn more about his experience with MedScout.

“What is your title and where are you based?”

I am the Area Sales Director for the Southern US, and I’m out of Richmond, Virginia. I help support the success of our sales team in the southern US.

“How long have you been with ECG?”

I’ve been with the company since June (right about the time MedScout was brought on board)!

“What has it looked like in previous roles to access data?” 

In prior roles, I was also helping to grow sales and support sales teams, and before that I was a rep, and I would just get online and Google specific physician specialties in a certain location. I would go through that myself and start honing through those, filtering out ones that were relevant and putting together a database myself. It was much more labor intensive and took a lot longer to do.

“How does MedScout fit into your Sales process?”

I’m looking at physician profiles, creating pipelines by practice and compiling their CPT and ICD 10 codes into categories useful for targeting purposes

“How do you celebrate big wins at work?”

I don’t have a tradition, really. My wife and I would do dinner or something - nothing huge! Then it’s getting back to the grind, go for the next win.

Summary
